[This allows the water to drip from the clams so they are not so heavy.]

And she’s carrying a clam digging stick.

The clam digging stick is just barely showing.
nilh yuhw Kathrine Loxe’, ni’ tl’uw’ snes tthu Dennis (Alphonse), Loxe’.
This might be Kathrine Loxe’, and that is also Dennis Allphose’s name, Loxe’.

And so this might be Dennis Alphonse’s mother that you are looking at.
